Intuitive ability is a skill that we all have, and it was granted to us even before we were born. However, social pressures and religious doctrines subdue it and keep it restrained. Only occasionally does this natural ability surface, and then it usually shocks us to the core. If we awaken to the knowledge that intuition is there for us, that we can bring it back from the depths of our soul, we could use this ability to protect us and help us move forward in life, knowing that we are supported by the universe. In order to use our intuition we must remain grounded and ensure that we do not live in our minds; intuition surrounds us every day, but we miss its simple signals.
An analogy of this would be when you are traveling down a main highway and you spot the sign that tells you in which way to go. Yet if you miss it, you will inevitably get lost. It is so easy to miss our signs and signals even when we are aware that they are there. One little diversion and you can miss the sign entirely. The universe, in its infinite wisdom will not lay out your fate or destiny to one sign; instead there will be a plethora of little subtle signs that will gently guide you on your right path. By remaining aware to the universe and its wisdom, we become acutely aware of the signs around us.
No matter what your belief is, intuition comes in many forms. It is only when you accept all religions, beliefs and creeds, that you can develop fully in the world of spirit. There are no boundaries – nothing is entirely right or wrong. How many prophets and mystics have been able to understand what spirit was trying to say? We all have the gifts of the spirit within. Intuition is within us all and is known as many things:
• Gut Instinct • Spirit within • Intuition
• Sixth Sense
• Inner Knowing • Inner Perception
